Summer at PA


Providence is bringing weekly camp offerings in athletics, fine arts, and discovery. All Summer Camps are open to the local community. Camp offerings are listed below. Registrations will begin in March. All grade levels will be based on rising grades for 2025-2026. If you're looking for full-day options, scroll to the bottom of this page for more information.

Basketball Session I May 27-30 Mike Cash Rising K-3rd 9AM-11:30AM; Rising 4th-8th 12PM-2:30PM Each day campers will spend time working on the fundamentals of basketball and playing basketball games. Passing, shooting, dribbling, pivoting, and basic offense, and defensive concepts are just some of the fundamentals taught each day. Players are divided into age-appropriate groups for skill training and scrimmages. Rest time and water breaks are given throughout each camp day.
Soccer June 2-5 Mike Cash Rising K-8th 9AM-12PM Each day campers will spend time working on the fundamentals of soccer (passing, trapping, juggling, shooting, volleying, dribbling, throw-ins, basic defensive concepts) and playing scrimmage soccer games. Players are divided into age-appropriate groups for skill training and scrimmages. Rest time and water breaks are given throughout each camp day.
ICODE Artist's Studio: 2D & 3D Design June 2-5 Kari Prabhakar Rising K-3rd 12PM-4PM Campers will learn to express themselves utilizing the digital tools of the art industry. Various pieces will be created throughout the week which will then be shared, and discussed as a group, giving these artists the crucial experience of personal feedback. Some of the areas that each new artist will explore include: photo manipulation, digital painting, 3D sculpting, and programming art! Campers will create an art gallery-style presentation for audiences to experience and enjoy their projects.
ICODE Battle of the Bots June 2-5 Kari Prabhakar Rising 4th-8th 12PM-4PM Battle of the bots is a great way to learn how technologies like programming, sensors, gears, and mechanics work, all while having fun! Campers will learn the fundamentals of mechanical engineering as they team up to build robotic systems and compete against one another in tasks such as sumo-wrestling, tug-o-war, head-to-head combat, and much more! By the end of the week, campers will put their skills to the test and see who can build the best battle bot.
Baseball June 9-12 Jeff Reed Rising 3rd-5th 10AM-12PM; 6th-8th 1:30PM-3:30PM
Volleyball June 9-11 Taylor Goines Rising K-8th 9AM-12PM Each day campers will spend time working on the fundamentals of volleyball (Passing, setting, hitting, serving). Players are divided into age-appropriate groups for skill training. Water breaks are given throughout each day. Camp workers will include the coaching staff and current volleyball players.
Drama June 16-20 Keri Beth Atkins Rising 4th-9th 9AM-4PM Come explore the process of theatre through games, improvisation, music, and more! Campers will create their own characters, engage in class techniques, and work toward a Friday evening performance of The Magical Land of Oz. Students of all experience levels are welcome! Fee-$175 (Auditions May 21 or 22)
Softball June 16-19 Erica Roller Rising 3rd-8th 9AM-12PM Campers will be divided up by age group to work on the fundamentals of softball (throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, bunting, and base running). There will be rest time and water breaks given throughout each day. Camp workers will include the coaching staff, a current college softball player and former PA graduate, and the current softball players.
Cheer Session I June 16-19 Nicole Turner Rising K-5th 5PM-8PM Join our PA Middle School Coaches and Cheer team while we share the PA cheerleading program’s mission and goal to elementary students which is to use our athletic ability to inspire school spirit on and off the court. Each day we will learn and review the fundamentals of cheerleading, new PA cheers, and learn a cheer dance. Through cheerleading we will also learn practical life skills like discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship, all while building confidence and self-esteem. Campers are encouraged to attend both weeks of camp for a full cheer camp experience!
Wrestling June 16-20 Justin Davis Rising 6th-8th 8:00AM-11:00AM ; Rising K-5th 12:00PM-3:00PM Each day campers will spend time working on the fundamentals of wrestling (take downs, top and bottom moves) and having a final match on Friday. Players are divided into age/weight-appropriate groups for skill training. Rest time and water breaks are given throughout each camp day.
Audiovisual/Tech Camp June 16-20 Jill Roberts Rising 6th-12th Give your child the opportunity to explore the exciting world of live production! Eclipse Audiovisual is hosting a hands-on, four-day Audiovisual Production Camp, where students will learn to use professional soundboards, lighting systems, and production software. Throughout the camp, students will gain valuable technical skills in sound and lighting design and collaborate to create immersive production experiences. On the final day, students will showcase their new skills by working with the drama summer camp to produce a live play. Spaces are limited—sign up today for this unique summer adventure! Flag Football July 7-10 Mike Cash Rising K-8th 9AM-12PM Each day campers will spend time working on the fundamentals of football (wide receiver routes, stance, QB/RB exchange, passing, catching, carrying the ball, flag pulling, hiking, basic defensive concepts) and playing scrimmage flag football games. Players are divided into age-appropriate groups for skill training and scrimmages. Rest time and water breaks are given throughout each camp day.
ICODE Junior Robotics: Programming with Vex 123 July 7-10 Kari Prabhakar Rising K-3rd 12PM-4PM This summer camp is designed to introduce young children to the fundamental concepts of robotics, algorithms, and programming through interactive, hands-on activities using the VEX 123 platform. Over the course of five days, students will progress from simple robot control through button inputs to more advanced block-based programming using the VEXcode 123 app. The camp emphasizes creative problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking as students complete challenges like programming their robots to navigate obstacle courses, collect resources, and perform tasks with real-world applications. Each day builds on the previous day’s learning outcomes, ensuring that by the end of the camp, students will have gained practical experience in loops, conditional statements, debugging, and the design process. The final day culminates in a Mars Rover project, where students must program and customize their
ICODE Roblox Design Intro: Capture the Flag July 7-10 Kari Prabhakar Rising 4th-8th 12PM-4PM This Roblox camp takes campers on a week-long journey into game development using Roblox Studio. Each day, campers will learn fundamental skills in game design, 3D modeling, and scripting to create their own interactive environments, culminating in a "Capture the Flag" multiplayer experience robots to simulate a space exploration mission.

Reading Roundup July 14-17 Lauren Lyons Rising 1st-3rd 12:30-3PM Reading Camp with incorporated art! The purpose of this camp is to mainly practice reading skills while also incorporating art and reading into daily stations. Students will be working directly with the teacher each day in reading fluency, phonics skills, and comprehension. Students will also participate in stations working with clay, art, reading manipulatives, and phonics word work. Students will take something home each day from class!
"Uke" Can Do It! July 14-17 Jill Roberts Rising 4th-High School 8:30-11:30 Ever wanted to play an instrument but just don't know how to get started? Here's your chance! Each day, students will explore the foundations of the ukulele, tuning the uke, learning simple chords and strumming patterns, reading ukulele tablature, and playing basic melodies. We also mix in tons of games and team playing. The week will close out with a mini performance of songs learned throughout the camp. Never played? That is OK! We will work with all levels of musicians. After the course, your student will be able to take their ukulele kit home and begin a lifelong love of learning an instrument.
Music Camp July 21-24 Betsy Pettit Rising 1st-4th Grades 9-11:30 Let's Make Music! Come enjoy a week full of singing, dancing, games, playing and making musical instruments. The week culminates with a performance the last 30 minutes of camp on Friday!
Worship Band Camp July 21-24 Betsy Pettit Rising 5th-8th 12:30-3PM Worship Band/Team - Learn how to serve with your gifts on a church worship team (instruments, vocals and audio/visual training. Students invited to bring their own instruments (will also use instruments available in the elementary music classroom)
Art Camp July 21-24 Jennifer Burgess Rising 5th-8th 9-11:30AM; Rising 1st-4th 12:30-3PM Fun with art! More information on theme soon!

Swim Camp August 4-8 Megan Williams Rising 4th-8th Swim camp will be for rising grades 4-8. Camp days and times are still being finalized as we wait upon pool availability. Camp will run M-F for approximately 2.5 hrs each day. Friday will include a mini "swim meet". Campers should be able to swim one length of the pool on their stomach and one length of the pool on their back before the week begins. Each day swimmers will spend time working on developing the strokes of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Swimmers will also work on the skills of proper turns for each of the strokes and dives. Campers will also get time each day to play various water group games with their peers. Swimmers will be divided into groups based upon ability levels. Full Day Options

If you're looking for a full day option, register for the camps listed below. We will facilitate the transition between camps and allow for lunch/snack breaks. Please follow pick-up and drop-off instructions provided by each camp Director. You must complete a registration form for each camp.
