Dr. Ben Carson

Dr. Ben Carson is a renowned pediatric neurosurgeon, author, public servant, and advocate for education. For nearly 30 years, he served as Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, where he became internationally recognized for groundbreaking surgical achievements. He later served as the 17th Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

A recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and more than 70 honorary doctorate degrees, Dr. Carson has authored eleven books and co-founded the Carson Scholars Fund with his wife, Candy, recognizing thousands of students for outstanding academic achievement and service. Today, he serves as Founder and Chairman of the American Cornerstone Institute, promoting the principles of faith, liberty, community, and life.
